Box Hill School

This year, I was commissioned by Box Hill School to direct an external mural, of a local scene and for it to be painted in a bright and bold aesthetic by its' sixteen students aged 14 - 17 years. Due to the piece being of such a large size and unable to be painted directly onto the school's exterior wall, we decided to have the students work on sixteen Plywood boards which also meant they could still work in a classroom when the weather was not fair. The pupils all had one section each to depict their version of the image using a pencil to map out and then acrylic to paint their piece - working brilliantly individually and together to create this one stunning painting overall.
